Dinagyang, Iloilo

The Dinagyang contigent from Iloilo has probably one of the best organized costumes. It’s because the headdress for the girls were made from curly wigs. Add to the black face make-up and they all look the same.

Great job! Hidlaw na ko sa Iloilo. Taga-Tigbauan ko ya. I heard from the news just last night that Dinagyang Festival has been the #1 Tourism Attraction in the Phillipines for 3 years now. And 1 tourist even said its worth coming back for. Proud gid ko nga nag uswag na gid ang aton lugar. Its been 9 years nga waay ko kapuli dra. Hopefully makapost ka pa gid sang madamo nga photos about Dinagyang pra mashare ko man sa akon mga frenz. And to promote the tourism dra. Thanks kag madamo pa nga inspirasyon ang maabot sa imo to make such effort…

Thank you for sharing this. I had such a wonderful time myself traveling and performing in philippine and this bought back so many memories.
